It is a craft fair held in the town of Dzitya from July 29 to August 7 every year.

Every year, our Tunich Fair opens its doors to provide local, national and foreign visitors a range of craft, culinary and cultural activities in the Municipality of Merida. In the fair you can purchase a variety of traditional items handmade by artisans from the region. You can find anything from unique textile pieces, carved wood with nice designs, beautiful objects in stone and fine jewelry.

The municipality of Dzityá has, for the past 15 years, hosted this great event, where artisans and producers can publicize their work, market their products and make a positive economic impact for the benefit of their community.

The International Tunich Craft Fair offers cultural activities, children's activities and comedy shows for the whole family as well as a spectacular show from the Folkloric Ballet of Merida, in addition to delicious snacks and typical food of the region which delight the palate.

There’s a free shuttle service to the Craft Fair Tunich 2016 from the Plaza Grande to the municipality of Dzityá:

• Monday through Saturday from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m.

• Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
